Do I need a final instrument list?
A preliminary list is enough to start. Include your asset classes and approximate symbol count, then confirm source definitions and availability during technical review.
Can I use my own data sources?
Include the source model in your brief. Technical compatibility, permitted use and redistribution rights need to be reviewed against the actual source documentation.
Should I send access credentials?
No. Describe the platform and environment without passwords, API keys or private keys. Any required access should be arranged separately through an agreed secure process.
